Mode of Action

Anilofos (HRAC Group 15) inhibits lipid biosynthesis in susceptible weeds, preventing cell division and early seedling development. It is absorbed primarily through the shoots and roots of germinating weeds, providing effective pre-emergence control in paddy fields.

Recommended Application Guidance

Application Instructions

1. Broadcast Timing (3–7 Days Post-Transplanting)
Apply uniformly as a pre-emergence granular treatment between 3 and 7 days after transplanting rice when weed seeds are germinating.
2. Water Management for Optimal Activation
Broadcast over standing water or moist soil. Maintain a shallow standing water layer (3–5 cm) for several days post-application to ensure proper distribution and activation of the herbicide barrier.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, measuring, and broadcasting. Toxic to aquatic life; prevent runoff or chemical drainage into surrounding ponds, streams, or waterways.
